I struggle with sunblock. I know I need to use it. In case I forget, there seems to be a continuous flow of reminders – thanks dermatologist, Mom, my pale friend Alison, the leathery lady at the gym – but I can’t say that I like it. I have sensitive skin so most SPF’s make me break out and even oil free products feel greasy on my face.
As I have previously mentioned, I love mineral sunscreen because it doesn’t make me break out. In theory, this is because mineral sunscreen sits on top of the skin and doesn’t set up shop in my pores like old fashioned sunscreen.
Colorescience makes a powder, mineral sunscreen that doesn’t make me break out. The powder is so lightweight that I don’t notice it. I apply it on top of my foundation and then throughout the day as needed. The best part is that it comes in a super convenient package that dispenses the powder into a built-in brush – perfect for your purse. It’s a genius product from a smart company!
For those of you running off to warm winter vacations this holiday season or for those of you who have a love/hate relationship with sunscreen, this Sunforgettable Mineral Powder is a must-have!
If only flossing was so easy!
What are your sunscreen tips? (Mom, I already know your sunscreen tip – reapply, reapply, reapply!)
